The Jackson Township Recreation Department is seeking Basketball Scorekeepers/Timekeepers for the upcoming youth basketball season. This is a seasonal position and a great opportunity for high school students and others who enjoy basketball and are looking for part-time evening work. Responsibilities The Basketball Scorekeeper/Timekeeper is responsible for accurately maintaining game information during assigned youth basketball games. Responsibilities include: Maintaining the official game score. Operating the game clock and keeping accurate time. Recording required game information. Working with referees, coaches, and Recreation Department staff to help games run smoothly. Following Recreation Department procedures during assigned games. Qualifications Must be at least 15 years of age. Knowledge of basketball and basic game rules is preferred. Must be dependable, attentive, and able to maintain accurate information during games. Must be available to work scheduled weeknight games. No certification is required. Training will be provided. Schedule & Compensation Season: November through March Schedule: Weeknights Hours: Approximately 6:15 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Rate: $16.00 per hour How to Apply: Complete an online employment application by selecting the "Apply Online" button below.
