The Municipal Clerk's Office is a time honored and vital part of local government that is considered the "hub" of municipal government operations; serving as liaison between governing officials and taxpayers and between the Executive and Legislative bodies. The Municipal Clerk serves as secretary to the municipal corporation, secretary to the governing body, chief administration official of all elections, chief registrar of voters, administrative officer for various licenses and permits, and records manager for local archives and records retention programs. The Clerk also receives all applications for Alcoholic Beverage licenses, bingo and raffle licenses and as well as is in charge of a wide variety of other functions and duties.
