Montville Township Recreation Ski Club offers four Friday-night trips to Shawnee Mountain from January through March for students in grades 6–12. Registration opens in early September. Registration through CommunityPass covers transportation ONLY. In October, registered participants will receive a link from the Recreation Department to purchase lift tickets, lessons, equipment rentals and meal vouchers directly through Shawnee Mountain. Transportation Schedule • Grades 9–12: Depart Community Park at 2:45 p.m. • Grades 6–8: Depart Community Park at 3:30 p.m. • All students: Return to Community Park at approximately 10:15 p.m. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Volunteer chaperones are essential to the success of this program. If you are seriously interested in chaperoning, please indicate this during registration. Chaperones may ski, snowboard or remain in the lodge during the trip. A background check is required for all chaperones.
