NOTICE OF POSTING OF JOB VACANCY Department: Police Department Position: School Crossing Guard This is to advise that an opening exists in the aforementioned position. Proper training will be provided to the successful applicants. The School Crossing Guards shall report for duty at the time specified, typically 2-4 hours a day, Monday – Friday. A guard must be capable of standing for the entire shift. Observing and reacting to driver movements requires alertness and agility. A basic examination for prospective crossing guards will be conducted to check mobility, blood pressure, vision, and hearing. The School Crossing Guard will be required to work no more than twenty (28) hours during a seven (7) day work period. The successful applicant will be required to work shifts during school hours. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all requests for transfers and to publicly advertise this position. Salary Range $16.25 to $19.00 per hour
