NOTICE OF POSTING OF VACANCY Position Titles: BUILDING/FIRE/ELECTRIC/PLUMBING/MECHANICAL INSPECTORS Department:  Building & Construction Department Status:  Part-Time Position Overview: TOWNSHIP OF WALL, MONMOUTH COUNTY. The Township of Wall seeks qualified Building, Fire Protection, Electric. Plumbing and Mechanical inspectors. Flexible hours which can include daytime, late afternoon, early evenings and Saturdays, maximum 24 hours per week. Duties include, but not limited to: under direction, inspects new and existing buildings and structures to ensure compliance with the State Uniform Construction Code and enforces same to ensure public safety, health, and welfare; does related work as required. Position requires excellent time management, communication, customer relations and organizational skills and requires ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Applicants should have excellent computer, mobile technology skills and experience with SDL software preferred. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.  Applicants must possess a current and valid UCC Inspector’s license as issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, multiple inspector/subcode licenses preferred and a valid and current New Jersey driver’s license.   Salary Range: $40.00- $50.00 per hour.
